WMB Inc. uses many different hardware and software configurations in the design process. Currently WMB uses Microstation as our primary cad package, along with Inroads, Survey SelectCad and KYCogo. All WMB workstation computers are running in the Windows environment and Intel 64 bit platform. WMB has multiple servers running Windows NT Server, FreeBSD, Red Hat Linux and handling project files, plotting, rastering, and web services. WMB also uses Oce' and Hewlett Packard plotters and printers for most of our printing solution. Plotters consist of HP650C, HP750C, HP1050C, HP4000, OCE9400, and printing with HP5000, HP5200, HP4550, HP 8550, HP Color LaserJet's and Savin 413 Color Copier and Canon 3380 Color Copier. Along with hardware and software these plotters are capable of handling plot files of excess of 1 gigabyte. With the full time onsite Internet servers WMB employees are in touch with their clients and recent software updates, and able to apply these changes to projects. The survey crew equipment revolves around the latest technology from Trimble, Topcon, Leica, Corvallis MicroTechnolgy, Trimble Geomatics Office Software, and Husky. Empowering Satellite GPS allows us to do Real Time Kinematic (RTK) or Static GPS surveys along with conventional type of surveying.
