HIGHWAYS

WMB Inc. began its diversification of engineering services and formed its highway division in 1960. Projects designed by the firm include rural secondary and primary, urban and interstate projects with interchanges, multiple lanes, and collector/distributor systems. Complete engineering services were provided on most of these projects. Those services include route and corridor studies and reports, surveys, preliminary and final plans for highways and structures. The following is a partial list of highway projects designed by the firm.

Jefferson Freeway-Interstate 65 interchange (fully directional type), Jefferson County, Kentucky; includes 1.5 miles Interstate 65 improvements from four to eight lanes.
Fern Valley Road-Interstate 65 interchange (partial clover type), Jefferson County, Kentucky. Includes 2.0 miles Interstate 65.
